Focusing our attention only on electric trucks, in the first six months of the year, the Volvo Group managed to deliver 1,442 vehicles, with Renault Trucks leading the chart among the brands with 748 trucks delivered (296 heavy-duty trucks and 452 light-duty vehicles). More than Volvo with 687 trucks delivered. In the first half of 2022, Volvo delivered 144 trucks, while Renault Trucks reached the number of 257. Mack Trucks, on the other hand, delivered 7 trucks in North America.
The net order intake of fully electric trucks in the first half of 2023 sees Volvo Trucks leading the chart with 896 vehicles, followed by Renault Trucks (582; -24% compared to 2022) and Mack Trucks (24).
The Volvo brands delivered 1,442 electric trucks all over the world in the first half of this year. Talking about trucks, in the first half of the year, registrations of thermal and electric trucks rose by 18% in Europe, 23% in North America and 15% in China compared to the first six months of 2022. In Q2, 2023, deliveries increased by 5% worldwide, while order intake decreased by 10%.
